Herbalism Mentorship
September • October • November
A three-month journey into ancestral plant medicine, community care and building deeper relationship with the living world around us.
This mentorship is for people who want to move beyond surface-level herbalism and begin developing a more grounded, embodied relationship with plants, healing and collective care. Together we’ll learn not only how to make medicine, but how to listen, observe and reconnect with traditions many of us were taught to forget.
Rooted in Black and Indigenous knowledge systems, this program approaches herbalism as something lived and shared rather than extracted or commodified. We’ll explore how plants support the body, Spirit and community while making space for the histories, grief, resilience and wisdom carried alongside these practices.
Over the course of three months, participants will gather in community for live teaching sessions, reflection, discussion and hands-on medicine making. Together we’ll work with herbs through teas, infusions, tinctures, oils and topical preparations while learning foundational energetics, safety practices and ways to build confidence in working with plants at home and in community spaces.
This mentorship is intentionally relational and community-centered. Participants will receive guided learning materials, reflection prompts and practical support throughout the program, alongside space for conversation, questions and shared learning.
This is not a certification program or clinical training. It is a space for remembering, reconnecting and building relationship with plant medicine in ways that feel accessible, ethical and rooted in care.
This mentorship may be especially supportive for:
birthworkers, caregivers and community healers
organizers and mutual aid workers
people reconnecting with ancestral healing traditions
anyone seeking slower, more relational ways of learning herbalism
Reciprocity Pricing:
Rooted • $300 - For those navigating financial hardship, disability, caregiving responsibilities, unstable income or systemic barriers.
Sustaining • $450 - Reflects the true cost of the program and supports the time, labor, preparation and materials involved.
Redistributive • $650 - For those with greater financial access who are able to help subsidize Rooted spots and future community offerings.
Payment plans available. No proof required. Trust is part of the practice.
